On our platform, by default, all profile fields are visible to all registered users. As we have explained in previous posts, we use this information to improve user search and filtering, always ensuring the security of your data.
However, users have the option to adjust the visibility of their profile fields, deciding who can see them and who cannot. It is important to take into account that hiding certain fields imply in lower visibility in user searches or filters, as well as a less attractive profile to users who are looking for similar profiles.
Although we provide this flexibility to protect our users’ privacy, we recommend carefully considering what information you want to share.
To modify the visibility of a field in your profile, first go to your profile and click on the “Edit” section, as we explained in a previous post “click here”. You can also use the following button to go directly.
Once there, you will see all the fields in your profile, each with the option “This field can be seen by:”. It is in this option where you can modify who can see that field. You have the option to choose between “Everyone”, “Only me”, “All Members”, or “My Friends” (referring to the contacts you have made on the platform). Once you have selected who can see the field, simply save the changes and your profile will be updated.
